He rafted on many severe rivers.
Sergey made the first descents (FD) of Terek (Dar’yal Gorge, 1988), Belaya, part of Karagem Breach of Argut River, Inguri (1990) in USSR.
Lagoda was the leader of rafting on Tamba Kosi (1997) in Nepal and on Choruh, Oltu, Tortum (1997), Barhal (1998), Hala, Firtina (2004), Karaduva, Gelevar (2005) and others in Turkey. He had rafted in India and other countries.
